Terms of use
What we are, what happens to your application, and how we are paid.
Last updated 16 September 2026Who these terms are between
They are between you and Quantum Leap Marketing, the registered business name of Rodrigo Paez, sole proprietor, NEQ 2272463334, Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, trading as Cashman Sam. Using the site or submitting the funding check means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
What Cashman Sam is, and what it is not
Cashman Sam is an introduction and matching service. We take your application and pass it to a funding partner who we believe lends to businesses like yours.
- We are not a bank, a lender, a broker of record or a financial adviser
- We do not lend money and we do not decide whether you are approved
- Nothing on this site is an offer of credit or a commitment to fund
- Any agreement you sign is between you and the funding partner, not us
Who may use it
You may use the funding check only if all of the following are true. If any of them are not, the application is not valid and we may decline to pass it on.
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are seeking funding for business purposes, not personal or household purposes
- You own the business or are authorised to apply on its behalf
- The information you give is accurate and the phone number and email address are yours
The indicative range is an indication
Before you give your contact details we may show you an indicative funding range. It is worked out from the answers you typed, it is not verified, and it is not an offer. What a funding partner will actually offer depends on their own underwriting of your bank statements and circumstances, and it may be higher, lower, or nothing at all.
What happens to your application
We pass it to one matched funding partner. They contact you directly, they set their own rates, fees and terms, and you deal with them from that point. We do not control their decisions, their pricing or their conduct, and we are not a party to any agreement you reach with them. Read anything they send you before you sign it.
How we are paid
Funding partners pay us a fee when a deal you introduce completes. You pay us nothing. We tell you this because it is the kind of thing you should know: our income depends on introductions completing, so you should judge any funder's offer on its own merits and not on the fact that we introduced them.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give accurate information, to use the site lawfully, and not to interfere with it.
- Do not submit an application for a business you have no authority over
- Do not give a phone number or email address that is not yours to give
- Do not attempt to scrape, overload, probe or disrupt the site
- Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose
This is not professional advice
Nothing on this site is financial, legal, tax or accounting advice. Business funding carries cost and risk, and the right answer depends on circumstances we do not see. Take your own advice before committing to anything.
Third parties
The site may link to sites we do not run, and funding partners operate their own businesses under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, their conduct or their decisions.
The site itself
The site, its text, its design and its branding belong to us. You may read it and share links to it. You may not copy it, reproduce it or use our branding without written permission. We provide the site as it is, we may change or withdraw it at any time, and we do not promise it will always be available or error free.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, from an introduction we make, or from any dealing you have with a funding partner, including lost profits or funding you did not receive. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and your statutory rights under Quebec consumer protection legislation are unaffected.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of the Province of Quebec, district of Longueuil.
How to reach us

Something here unclear?
Email us before you apply rather than after. If any part of how this works is not clear, we would rather explain it than have you find out later.
